The Football Federation of Cambodia is an organization, which is responsible for the control of the football development in Cambodia. It is located in Phnom Penh. The Football Federation of Cambodia or FFC, as it is also called, was founded in 1933. FFC joined FIFA and AFC in 1954, and in 1996 joined the ASEAN Football Federation.
The Federation organizes different activities and manages national soccer teams, which consist of men, women, and youth. Under the control of the federation, the national championship and many other competitions are held. Also, under the aegis of FFC, there is a mini-football national team of the country. The logo of FFC depicts the corresponding abbreviation FFC.
The Cambodian Football Federation re-elected the president and asked the world leadership to take this decision. Kao Sokha, who is a lieutenant-general and commander of the military police, was elected back in April 2006 but FIFA refused to accept this choice. In spite of this, the federation re-elected Kao Sokh to the post of president and sent the ambassador letter to FIFA and AFC with a request to recognize the elections held.
